Ottawa Fury FC have confirmed they will play a friendly against the Montreal Impact Wednesday, July 12 at 7:00 p.m. as Major League Soccer returns to TD Place.

The Montreal Impact are in the midst of their sixth MLS season following their 2016 campaign that saw them reach the Eastern Conference Final. Lead by Canadian captain Patrice Bernier, the Impact have reached the MLS Cup Playoffs twice, won the Canadian Championship in 2014 and became the second MLS club and first Canadian team to reach the CONCACAF Champions League Final in 2015.

The first time an MLS team came to TD Place, over 9000 fans witnessed Fury FC hand the Vancouver Whitecaps at 2-0 defeated in the first leg of the Canadian Championship semifinals. Last week, Ottawa claimed another upset against MLS opposition in the Canadian Championship, this time scoring a 2-1 win over Toronto FC.

Back in December, Ottawa and Montreal announced an agreement that made Fury FC the USL partner club of the MLS club.

Don’t miss the only chance you’ll have to see the Montreal Impact play at TD Place in 2017. Tickets Available online, by calling 613.232.6767 X1 or in person at The Box Office at TD Place.
