  • Dive into different situations and projects on a day to day basis while also focusing on core responsibility which is to drive engagement for the Ottawa 67’s.
  • Have excellent knowledge across social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Snapchat, Google, etc.).
  • Focus on driving customer acquisition, optimizing conversion rates and improving customer retention
  • Ability to form strategic online partnerships through social media
  • Plan, execute and measure A/B tests and experiments
  • Have the ability to analyse data/metrics and action off of the insights
  • Identify emerging technologies and provide thought leadership on whether the company should adopt and implement them.
  • Must be able to brainstorm and strategize initiatives that hit engagement objectives.
  • Be extremely organized with ability to work in a FAST moving environment with multiple projects all on the go at the same time.

Ticket Operations Administrator

Location: Ottawa, ON

Are you interested in becoming a Ticket Operations Administrator within the Ticket Operations team?  We are looking for an eager, reliable person to come on-board for 6 months to help with walk in clients on a daily basis and ticket operation duties.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Respond to general telephone inquiries about TD Place and direct customers to the appropriate individual.

  • Assist with ticket order processing, fulfillment, distribution while providing excellent customer service to our fans.
  • Monitor and respond to customer service voice mails (French and English).
  • Responsible for opening and closing the Box Office.
  • Process all walk up sales for single game sports tickets and concerts using the Paciolan Ticketing System.
  • Oversee the ticketing process for the following:
    • Staff Tickets
    • 67’s Billet Tickets
    • Donation Requests
    • Ticket Exchanges/Vouchers
  • Work with sales representatives on the following:
    • Billing Plans
    • Underpaid Accounts
    • Updating Account Information
    • Projects as assigned
  • Daily Cash Reconciliation on Cash Float for Daily Transactions.
  • Ship packages to clients via courier.
  • Assist with game day operations, as required.

What do I need to have?

  • Post-Secondary degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent relationship building and people skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external clients at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to smile, have a positive mindset and jump in on a ‘one team one vision’ culture.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Experience using sports ticketing systems a plus (Paciolan/Spectra Ticket System).
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered a strong asset.

Administrative Assistant

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

As a member of the Venues & Entertainment team, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative, office and support to various departments including Venues, IT and Entertainment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages calendars, including scheduling meetings and preparing materials; 
  • Assists the Venue & Entertainment department with day to day duties;
  • Creates and maintains operations work orders and P. O’s;
  • Prepares operations part-time employee schedules to ensure effective use of resources;
  • Places service orders, researches new products and services, contacts vendors for troubleshooting for all supplies and equipment purchases;
  • Opens and distributes mail, prepares and coordinates courier requirements while ensuring deliveries are met within pre-determined timelines;
  • Coordinates, orders and stocks office supplies which includes ordering business cards, letter head other pertinent stationary items required;
  • Maintains, updates, purges and archives paper files and backlog of unfiled documents;
  • Assists with the preparation of business presentations;
  • Works with Finance on various budgetary requirements;
  • Facilitates office work space requirements, moves and logistics;
  • Tracks various reports as required;
  • Organizes meetings involving multiple internal staff;
  • Assists in planning, organizing and coordinating functions and special events as needed;
  • Assists with special projects within the Venues & Entertainment departments as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND Experience:

  • Post-secondary education;
  • 4-5 years of Administrative experience in a fast paced environment;
  • Expertise in supporting all levels of staff;
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent Communication skills, listening, verbal and written;
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team;

Operations Supervisor

Location: Ottawa, ON

As a member of the Venues team, the Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the set-up TD Place’s arena and stadium for a variety of events and manages the conversion staff in completing projects related to maintenance to help insure proper and safe operation of the facility on a daily basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the set-up the stadium and arena for a variety of events.
  • Coordinates various projects related to facility maintenance, upgrades, etc.
  • Develops conversion plans with event operations staff, based on event requirements and ensures completion of tasks in tight time frames.
  • Identification of personnel issues and developing possible solutions to such issues. 
  • Documents damaged or needed equipment repairs, as well as informing facilities management and appropriate personnel so that repairs can be appropriately scheduled; acts as troubleshooter for minor repairs as needed.
  • Ensures storage warehouses are properly organized on a nightly basis, and all department inventory (i.e. tools, hardware, etc.) is accounted for.
  • Conducts monthly safety meetings with department staff, and completes appropriate documentation for submission.
  • Assists in hiring appropriate staff. 
  • Maintains the highest level of expectations, quality control, and attention to detail required by the facility, as well as all tenants of the building and customers whom use the arena and other facilities throughout the building.
  • Participates in the physical tasks of conversion and other projects along with the conversion crew as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND Experience:

  • High school diploma with five (5) years of conversion experience;
  • Three (3) years of management experience;
  • Computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and standards such as workplace health and safety;
  • Able to read blueprints, drawings and specifications;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and with tact and to prepare accurate reports and documents on activities;
  • Self-motivated, energetic team player able to deal with an extremely fast paced environment;
  • Sound organizational, coordinating, time-management, and personal interface skills;
  • Familiarity with football, soccer, hockey and events requirements;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • Flexibility with work schedule- nights, weekends, and holidays;
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
