Mascots

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

The Ottawa REDBLACKS, Fury FC and 67’s are looking for a few good creatures …. Mascots, really.

Applicants for these part-time positions should be energetic, enthusiastic, creative, furry (just kidding) and able to adopt a fun and entertaining persona to keep crowds entertained.  At the same time, applicants need to be mindful that some young fans might be shy or even afraid of the character so the role calls for intuitiveness and the ability to adapt on-the-fly to changing circumstances.

Experience as a mascot, actor or entertainer would be beneficial. Candidates should also have a valid driver’s license and a means of transportation to attend public appearances.  All candidates must provide an up-to-date police records check letter and bilingualism would be an asset.

If you feel you’re up for the challenge and fun of mascotting then we look forward to hearing from you.  Phase two of the process will be an audition where you’ll get a chance to show us your stuff.
