August marks the celebration of Capital Pride in Ottawa!

August marks the celebration of Capital Pride in Ottawa. While this pride month is different from years previous due to COVID-19, there is still much to celebrate.

Capital Pride Festival will take place in Ottawa virtually this year from August 23-30.  Capital Pride’s Virtual Summer Festival 2020 presented by TD will feature both local and international talent, along with festival favourites such as the official flag raising, speaker series, Capital Pride Pageant and of course the parade.  This year’s festival theme is “Wherever We Are!” in an effort to highlight the need for everyone to stay colourful and proud regardless of where we are physically.

Even though we are unable to celebrate in person this year, Capital Pride is excited to bring people together online through a series of free Virtual Pride events.  Here’s what they have planned for this year’s Virtual Summer Festival 2020 presented by TD.  Learn More.
