TD Place no longer requires proof of vaccination or masks as a condition of entry.
Will fans/guests be required to show proof of vaccine at TD Place?
Effective March 1, 2022, guests will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination at TD Place. Specific shows/tours may have their own health and safety protocols and those will be communicated at the time of purchase and to all current ticket holders.
Why did you make this decision?
Like we have done throughout COVID-19, OSEG is following the lead and direction of Public Health and the Provincial re-opening plan. With positivity rates, hospitalization rates, ICU levels, all declining significantly, we feel a gradual easing of public health measures is warranted at this juncture.
What if the situation changes for the worse? Will you reinstate the proof-of-vax requirement?
We’ll continue to monitor the key indicators and make decisions based on the science and policy recommendations from the Province and Public Health officials.
Why do your employees still need to be vaccinated? Is their health more important than your guests?
As stated in our announcement, leagues and/or certain acts/tours may have health and safety protocols of their own and those will also apply at TD Place. To that end, the OHL requires all employees working games as well as team personnel to be fully vaccinated and that extends to OSEG employees.
What about the Masks?
The Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) announces that, in alignment with the Province of Ontario’s re-opening plan, masks will no longer be a condition of entry at TD Place.
While masks are encouraged, as per the Provincial re-opening guidance wearing one in venues such as TD Place will be voluntary and a personal decision. Throughout this transition and as we continue to learn to live with and manage COVID-19, we ask that all guests remain respectful of their fellow patrons and their personal choice.
TD Place will continue to evaluate and follow the guidance of public health experts, adapting our policies and protocols as required and will provide updates accordingly.
Can I get a refund if I no longer feel safe attending TD Place events?
For 67’s and REDBLACKS, customers can convert their purchase for a ticketing credit for next season.
For concerts, we need to determine with each promoter their health and safety protocols and how refunds will be handled.
