In exactly eight months, RNation welcomes Our Nation to the 105th Grey Cup Festival, proudly presented by CFL partner Shaw Communications, kicking off a week-long celebration of football and Canadiana culminating with the 105th Grey Cup presented by Shaw on Sunday, November 26 at TD Place in Ottawa.

The biggest celebration for a generation will begin eight months from today on November 21 at Lansdowne, the location that will quarterback a majority of the festivities of the 105th Grey Cup Festival. A centralized location in the heart of the nation’s capital, Lansdowne will welcome the world to the biggest and best party of 2017.

“The 105th Grey Cup and Grey Cup Festival will be an exclamation point on a year-long celebration,” said Bernie Ashe, CEO of Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group. “The 105th Grey Cup Festival will bring together established and loyal football supporters with a new generation of young and passionate fans. We’re excited to welcome everyone to our nation’s capital as we celebrate this great game and our great country.”

The events and activities for the 105th Grey Cup Festival will celebrate Canadian culture, heritage and values, while showcasing diversity and inclusiveness. From events for passionate football fans to activities for families and children, the 105th Grey Cup Festival will offer something for everyone.

Over the coming months, the 105th Grey Cup Festival committee will unveil a series of free and ticketed events that include a concert series, the CFL Gala, team parties, street festival, cheer extravaganza, Shaw CFL Awards, kids zone, and one of the largest tailgates in CFL history!

The 105th Grey Cup Festival, along with the 105th Grey Cup Championship, is proudly presented by CFL partner Shaw Communications.

“As Canadians pour into Ottawa for the Grey Cup in November, the Grey Cup Festival will be the place where they can connect with all the things they love about the CFL – their favourite team, players, and thousands of fans from across the country,” said Chethan Lakshman, Vice President, Communications and Public Relations, Shaw Communications.

“Ottawa is looking forward to hosting the 105th Grey Cup and Grey Cup Festival as part our year-long celebrations of Canada’s 150th anniversary,” said Mayor Jim Watson. “Over the years, our city has demonstrated its enthusiasm for football time and again, and we can’t wait to host this incredible championship at Lansdowne Park. The week-long festivities will not only bring together CFL fans from across our country; they will have a significant impact on our tourism industry and our local economy.’’
