‘Tis the season! Come warm up at Lansdowne this December with these five festive activities.

1. Christmas Tree Lighting
December 1 from 5:30-8:30PM

Come to Lansdowne for Ottawa’s BIGGEST Christmas tree lighting and a full free evening of live music by the Moonfruits, holiday drinks and fun activities. Warm up by the fire, take photos with Santa and get in the holiday spirit! Tree lighting at 6PM in front of the Aberdeen Pavilion.

2. Lansdowne Christmas Market
December 2-3, 9-10, 23 from 9AM-3PM

This free Christmas Market hosts over 120 vendors inside the historical Aberdeen Pavilion, offering locally grown and made food, handmade crafts, gifts and ingredients for holiday entertaining. Enjoy horse and wagon rides, kids activities, live music, weekly prize draws and visits from Santa.

3. Ottawa 67’s Teddy Bear Toss & Free Post-Game Skate
December 10 at 2PM (full home schedule here)

When the 67’s score their first goal of the game, fans are encouraged to throw their fluffy friends onto the ice! All tossed teddies will be donated to charity. Glide around the rink with friends, family and 67’s players post-game (offered after every Sunday game). Free transportation with your game ticket.

4. Holiday Pottery Sale
December 8-10 (click for times)

Shop a great selection of locally handcrafted pottery inside the Horticulture Building. Meet the artisans and find unique gifts! Free entry.

5. Hogman-eh!
December 31 from 6PM-midnight

Celebrate New Year’s Eve, Scottish style! Ring in 2018 at the Scottish Society of Ottawa’s sixth annual Hogman-eh! festival with live entertainment, scotch tasting, traditional food, highland dancing, children’s activities and midnight fireworks.
