The 2025 Masters Indigenous Games, open to Indigenous Peoples from around the world, will take place from August 14-17 in the nation’s capital. Ottawa and the surrounding region is the traditional and unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe people, who have known and inhabited these lands for millennia.
Sports
Join or cheer on athletes competing in a variety of sports, including:

- - Volleyball
Participation starts at just $121 per person, and all sports are free for spectators to watch. Proof of Indigenous ancestry is required to compete in sports competitions.
Opening Ceremonies
Kick off the Games with an unforgettable evening at the Opening Ceremonies on Thursday 14 August at 6pm, more information to follow.
Cultural Village
Immerse yourself in Indigenous culture at the Cultural Village, open to the public throughout the Games. Explore live performances, traditional sports demonstrations, hands-on activities, and shop at the marketplace featuring Indigenous crafts, art, and food vendors.
